HOLLYTEX

Hollytex® Nonwovens

 (11)
HOLLYTEX® is a spunbonded polyester sheet structured from continuous filament polyester fibers. Calendered for high tensile and tear strength, HOLLYTEX® is considered the ultimate membrane support for micro-filtration, ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis. This FDA approved material contains no resins, sizing or binders, and has good chemical resistance, particularly in acids, oxidizing agents and solvents. Operating temperatures may go as high as 350°F, yet the material maintains good dimensional stability and resistance to rot and mildew. The unique characteristics of HOLLYTEX® offer many industries an economic alternative to woven goods, where strength and durability requirements cannot be met by other types of non-wovens. 250 yd. ...

Reemay® Filtration Grade Spunbonded Polyester

 (13)
REEMAY® spunbonded polyester is a sheet structure of continuous filament polyester fibers that are randomly arranged, highly dispersed, and bonded at the filament junctions. The chemical and thermal properties of REEMAY® are essentially those of polyester fiber, and the product’s spunbonded structure further endows it with an extraordinary combination of physical properties which gives it ready application in many areas of the filtration industry. Among the distinctive characteristics of REEMAY® are high tensile and tear strength, non-raveling edges, excellent dimensional stability, no media migration, good chemical resistance, and controlled arrestance and permeability. REEMAY® is produced with either straight or crimped polyester fibers ...

GLASS-GRADE-131

Glass Microfiber Filters

 (78)
We offer a full range of glass microfiber filters manufactured by the mill from 100% pure borosilicate glass. Because of their intrinsic properties, glass microfiber filters have wide applications in many areas of laboratory analysis, especially when fine filtration and high loading capacity is required. Applications for glass microfiber filters include environmental analysis for water, wastewater, testing of soils, air pollution and monitoring, research and process biochemistry, and gravimetric analysis involving ignition of samples. Glass Microfiber filters are also found in the filtration of hot gases and liquids, and in pre-filtration.
